A woman who got stuck inside the chimney of her ex-boyfriend's home had to be freed by firefighters.
Crews spent two hours carefully extricating the 35-year-old from the Riverside County, California, house's brick fireplace at 5 a.m. Saturday, reports KTLA.
She had entered the 12-by-12-foot space from the roof.
It's currently not clear why she was actually inside the chimney.
But the homeowner, who has not been named, told NBC4 that she was the mother of his three children.
He also revealed that they had split up - and he did not want her inside the property.
Firefighters had to partially dismantle the brick structure.
Once freed, the woman was taken to hospital with what were described as "moderate" injuries. Her current condition is not known.
