Car stalls getaway for man accused in Florida murder: cops (VIDEO)

Brian Michael Vicario, 24, is being held without bail for the first-degree murder of R.C. Brown, who police allege was stabbed and shot in his own apartment. Vicario was found in a broken down car nearby.

A Florida man's speedy getaway from a murder stalled on the side of a road.
Brian Michael Vicario, 24, is being held without bail on a first-degree murder charge afterClearwater police found him in his stalled car near the crime scene late Monday night, police said.
Cops allege Vicario broke into an apartment on Woodlawn St. at 10 p.m., shattering a window to get inside, and then stabbed and shot 53-year-old R.C. Brown, Clearwater police said.
Vicario reportedly knew Brown, who died at the scene.
Police, responding to 911 calls of gunshots, caught up with Vicario after his car, a dented Nissan, broke down on Woodlawn St., just east of the crime scene.
The car was towed away while Vicario was hauled away. Florida's bike path's might have been a better solution.
A motive remains unclear, according to police.

The 17-year-old boyfriend of Leah Costa, 15, was arrested Tuesday morning after police believe they found the missing Buckeye teen's body near Interstate 10. The boyfriend was found wandering the highway alone with torn clothing Saturday night, police said.

A missing Arizona teen's boyfriend was arrested after authorities believe they found the girl's body in the desert.
Leah Costa, 15, of Buckeye, was found with a bullet in her head Monday night after running away with her 17-year-old boyfriend on Christmas Eve, authorities said.
Her boyfriend was arrested Tuesday morning on suspicion of second-degree murder.
He was discovered wandering alone along Interstate 10 near milepost 78 on Saturday night, police said. His clothes were torn and he was disoriented.
The teen could not recall what had happened to Costa but told police he saw her last at a truck stop near Interstate 10 and 339th Avenue.

The girl's body was found south of Interstate 10 near 411th Avenue in Tonopah, according to KPHO.Police have not released the boyfriend's name because he is a minor.
He was also arrested on suspicion of burglary and assault with a deadly weapon from a Friday Tonopah home invasion.
