Pregnant woman, 27, found dead in Bronx shelter in apparent overdose: sources

A 27-year-old pregnant woman was found dead in a Bronx shelter Saturday morning, the apparent victim of an overdose.
Gloramar Rivera was discovered dead with face and chest trauma face on the floor next to her bed in a shelter for pregnant women on Bryant Ave. near E. 173rd St. about 9:20 a.m., cops said. She was five months pregnant, according to police sources.
The city medical examiner will conduct an autopsy to determine how she died, but investigators suspect an overdose, police sources said.
