Man bashed in head with baseball bat in Bronx: cops
The man was attacked near Ogden Ave. and W. 167 St. at about 7:56 p.m. Saturday, fire officials said. Police said the vicious beating started because of a family dispute.

SAM COSTANZA FOR NEW YORK DAILY NEWSA man was rushed to a nearby firehouse on Ogden Ave. in the Bronx after he was bashed with a baseball bat on Saturday night.
A man suffered a brutal assault when a suspect bashed him with a baseball bat on Saturday night in the Bronx, cops said.
The victim suffered head injuries after he was attacked near Ogden Ave. and W. 167 St. at about 7:56 p.m., fire officials said.
The victim was rushed to a nearby firehouse on Ogden Ave. for help. A firefighter there said he had a bloody gash across his face and a broken thumb.
Cops said the vicious beating started because of a family dispute. EMS responders brought the victim to Lincoln Hospital to be treated.
Cops were still searching for the attacker on Saturday night.
