Man, 37, fatally stabbed after trying to break up fight in Brooklyn
The man tried to confront a man fighting with his step-daughter in front of a Greenpoint apartment building, but was stabbed by a second man late Monday, according to cops.

A 37-year-old man was stabbed to death Monday night as he tried to break up a fight between his step-daughter and another man, possibly over unwanted flirting, police said.
The man saw his step-daughter and another man fighting in front of an apartment building on DuPont St. in Greenpoint around 8:30 p.m., police said. When he went down to confront the man, he got into a dispute with a second man who stabbed him in the stomach, police said.
He was rushed to Bellevue Hospital Center, but soon died from his injuries, police said. His attacker fled the location and was still at large, cops said.
