A Georgia psycho who killed his girlfriend's younger brother by forcing him to stand holding paint buckets for hours in stifling 90-degree heat will spend the rest of his days behind bars.
Omar Andrew Pitts was on Friday sentenced to life imprisonment plus 50 years for his role in the horrific death of 12-year-old Jay'tavious Mahone, reports The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
He reportedly launched the brutal assault on June 17, 2010, after the youngster took his shoes off after being told not to.
The 32-year-old pleaded guilty to murder, child cruelty, aggravated assault and aggravated sexual battery.
Pitts, of College Park, sickeningly forced the boy to wear a dress and makeup as part of his punishment.
Mahone repeatedly complained of being thirsty and tired before he collapsed and passed out in the sun, according to Fulton County District Attorney's Office.
Pitts then kicked and punched him several times in the head as he lay motionless on the ground. The horrific beating was filmed by neighbor Hakim Deem from an upstairs window.
"Eight or nine times, he kicked him. The boy got up and then passed out," he said, according to The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
Paramedics were called at 3:40 p.m. and Mahone was found to have suffered from a heat stroke. He was rushed to South Fulton Medical Center, but pronounced dead soon after.
Mahone's older sister Sabrina Powell was also arrested following his death and currently remains in Fulton County jail awaiting trial. The exact charges she faces are not clear.
